21 Jan 09 To Make Money is Crucial to Leverage Your Sales

Leverage Your Sales is Critical to Your Success

    http://www.v10domains.com

We often talk leverage. In business, how you leverage each function of your business will differentiate whether you just scrape by or make massive profits.

If you can make an advertisement generate 100 leads instead of 20; get clients to purchase 5 times per year instead of 3; upsell clients to a $3,000 ‘package’ instead of the standard $1,500 offer; develop a referral process that generates 1.5 new clients per client.

These are examples of leverage. And this is where massive hidden profits exist in your business. How well you leverage your sales is critical to your success.

Advertising and marketing is one of the biggest cost bases in small business. The money you spend to aquire new clients directly impacts your bottom line profit. If it costs you $1,000 to acquire to new client worth $1,500, you make $500 bottom line profit.

If you can reduce the cost to acquire that client from $1,000 to $500, you have effectively DOUBLED your bottom line net profit.

If you extrapolate that across your business you can effectively double your net income almost immediately. You can easily move from $30,000 income, to $60,000, to $100,000. Simply by improving this one stage in your sales process.

This is the power and importance of selling. Consider the evolution of experts in their field. Think of Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Wayne Dwyer, Jay Abraham, Stephen Covey and Michael Gerber, for example.

How did these experts become experts? How did they become so successful? What’s their greatest point of distinction? There’s no doubt these experts have high technical competence.

But their technical competence was NOT the driver behind their extraordinary success. They each started at a level of technical competence comparable to their peers. It was their ability to SELL their service that was (and still is) their greatest point of distinction and key business growth driver.

Being highly proficient at selling their services allowed them to:

    ·         Build their client numbers;

    ·         Identify the challenges, needs and desires of their clients;

    ·         Grow in technical competence in areas desirous to clients;

    ·         Develop niche services and products aligned to client needs;

    ·         Build brand recognition;

    ·         Sell more effectively.

This growth cycle is underpinned by the differentiating ability AND WILLINGNESS to master selling. Only by selling effectively were they able to identify the needs of their niche; expand their technical competence in these areas; and develop highly desirable services and products. You’ll find it very difficult to build a successful business if you attempt to lead business growth with technical competence.

21 Jan 09 Make Money Reprogramming your Limiting Beliefs

The good news is: we can “reprogram” our mind and replace our negative, limiting beliefs for positive contributing ones.

Positive brainwashing is what I like to call it! This can be done by the use of so called “affirmations”. An affirmation is a positive self talk statement, stated in the present tense that covers a goal you want to achieve and that ‘overrules’ negative beliefs towards that goal. An example is “I easily do 10 sales calls a day”. Or “I am an excellent negotiator”. By stating this affirmation regularly during your day, you will achieve the goal you have set for yourself easier. This positive self talk helps your mind to overcome beliefs that you have about yourself, that limit your success and actions. Compare our mind with a computer: when you change the input, the output will change accordingly. So if you have the limiting belief that you are no good in public speaking (probably because of negative experiences in the past) you can actually reprogram your mind by stating the following affirmation: “ I am an excellent public speaker. I love to speak for huge audiences and people love to hear me talk”. By affirming this belief over and over, you actually start to believe it and your mind will find a way to make this statement a reality. At some stage, you might decide to do a course in public speaking, or someone might ask you to speak at some kind of seminar, which forces you to work on your speaking skills. Somehow, these affirmations help you to reach the ‘goal’ you have set for yourself and open doors for you that would otherwise have been kept closed. And this works for virtually everything. Belief and it will happen.

Imagine standing for a big river, with a heavy stream. You have to cross it, but you don’t think you can actually do it. Your belief is keeping you from crossing, although you physically should be able to do it easily. It just looks too hard! Then someone else comes up from behind you, and without thinking starts crossing the river and gets to the other side. His belief was positive, and he knew he could do it. The interesting thing is that this will probably influence your belief: “if he can do it, I can do it too” and you will then cross the river without any problem at all. Similar things happen when a group of people is introduced to the phenomenon of fire walking. At first a big group of people will say that there is no way they will walk on fire. Until…other people with higher beliefs go first, then all of a sudden everyone else rushes over to do it as well.

So think about YOUR beliefs, and try to discover which belief are actually holding you back from reaching your full potential in your life.

Then, one by one, start eliminating these beliefs from your system. Formulate an affirmation that counters your negative belief, and re affirm it daily. Write them in your diary, on your bathroom mirror, next to your computer; anywhere you see it often and say the affirmation out loud as often as possible. You will be happily surprised by the results!

21 Jan 09 To Make Money You Should Have The Belief

To Make Money you shoud believe you can. Everyone comes into this world with a clear mind, and a belief that everything is possible.

All is positive and well. Remember as a child, you could do and become everything, without any boundaries! As we grow up however, we pick up beliefs, fears and limitations from our surroundings and peers that gradually form the person we are today. A lot of these beliefs unfortunately are negative and as we build our lives they limit us in our actions and being. Very often they therefore contribute to unhappiness or feeling unfulfilled in our lives and business. It can be the smallest –seemingly harmless- remark from a mother like “just let me handle that, you are no good at that” that can convince you that you are not good at a certain task. A teacher who calls a pupil “the clumsy one” can do more harm with this remark than he realizes when repeated often enough. With every remark the belief is harnessed further in the child that it indeed is clumsy. Even though a remark is said with a smile or with the intent to be funny, it still leaves a legacy in the belief system.

This programming of course doesn’t stop at adulthood; it keeps influencing people in all stages of life. We are being influenced by our parents, kids, partner, friends, colleagues, television, newspapers, and magazines and so on. Sometimes in a positive, but very often in a negative way. No wonder we limit ourselves in so many ways! Belief is the key to make money.  If you belief you can do something, you can. If you belief you can’t do something, you will be right too.

21 Jan 09 Make Money and Become an Entrepreneur

    Entrepreneurs not only make money
Being an entrepreneur is not just about making money; it is a way to become who you are. It isn’t always easy following your heart because putting yourself out there opens you up to criticism and makes you acknowledge and confront your fears…
… but it also shows you how to harness your unique talents, skills and gifts, teaches you patience and persistence. When you follow your heart you become greater than you dreamed you could.
Here’s some tips for following your call to adventure -

    • Be willing to listen - listen deeply to your own heart and respond to your own call to adventure and see how you are called to show up more in the world. It’s about moving beyond your defences in order to show up in greater authenticity.
    • Be a star and shine your light – a teacher of mine, Chuck Spezanno, recently talked about showing up as a star in the world. He talked about four levels at which you can be a star – for yourself, your community, for the world and for Heaven or spirit or God.
    • Venturing your heart – success is about having your heart, your deep feelings, your sense of true direction. In my experience, the way to win your heart back is to venture again, to risk giving, receiving and trusting again. This means running the risk getting hurt - but venturing anyway - and deciding to forgive and to heal that pain so you will no longer use the hurt or fear to keep yourself in prison.
    • Leadership – show up in the world with your unique gifts and talents. These might be ideas, light, comfort, humour, direction, guidance, strategies rather than just complaining about how things are or judging how things are and. As a leader you’re less inclined to judge and more invested in creating win / win solutions. You see beyond win / lose and have a vision of true resolution, true healing.

21 Jan 09 Tips to Make Money with a Network Marketing Company

To Make Money with a Network Marketing Company you should consider the following:

    1. A company that has been in business for at least 5 years and has great
financial backing, excellent management and a ‘distributor first’
philosophy. The company should also have a long-term development goal
and not just be out for the quick cash.

    2. High quality (unique if possible), reasonably priced products or services
that should be, ideally, consumable so users will have to buy over and over
    again.

    3. A Compensation Plan that is fair to both fulltime and part-time
distributors alike with leadership bonuses for those who build large and
    productive teams.

    4. Training and solid up line support for your team.

    5. A wide and even global market if possible.

21 Jan 09 How to Make Money with Residual Income

Many people make money with Residual Income.

Recurring Income is another term for residual income. In a nutshell, there are three (3) types of income streams that you may have coming into your business.

    1. If you do a one-time job, sale or perform a contract, you get paid once
    and the income stops there.
    2. If you do a normal 9 to 5 job, you will continue to get paid as long you
continue to work for your employer—often called a linear income. This is
the type of income that the majority of workers “enjoy.” Even if you are a
neurosurgeon, lawyer or engineer, you are only paid as long as you
continue working. You stop working and the bank account dwindles.
    3. The third type of income is the recurring income where you are paid
even after you have stopped working. For example, you wrote a book and
as long as your book continues to sell, you will continue to receive royalty
income for a work done once.
Majority of rich and affluent people created wealth through a form of recurring
income stream. Take singer Michael Jackson for example; he still continues to
receive royalty from the sales of his records made decades ago. He can even
repackage the same oldies and sell them to generate new income. He doesn’t
have to spend time in the studio to record new songs in order to have the cash
keep flowing in! This is the most ideal situation of the three. We would all like to
work once and get paid over and over again. That is the power of recurring
    income!
The majority of professionals that enjoy this type of income belong to the creative
fields such as actors, writers, singers, and inventors.

In this Internet era people are looking for ways to make recurring income as well.

15 Jan 09 To Make Money Having a Brand is Important

How to build your brand to make money
A brand will still be associated with your business in the minds of your prospects and customers. To build a truly powerful brand for your business you must connect your brand to a higher purpose.

You’ve got to be focused on bringing a greater experience; a greater sense of exclusivity; a greater amount of joy; a greater sense of prestige, of pride, of fulfillment (or whatever element of promise your brand is designed to do or deliver) to the market. In other words, your brand must be intrinsically connected to the needs of your niche!

If your brand is the sum total of all that you and your business does, and your niche is your  clearly defined target group, how then do you align or position your brand is such a way that when faced with a choice your prospect chooses you instead of your competition?

13 Jan 09 Why a website if you want to make money

A website is necessary if you want to Make Money

Reasons why you need a website
Reasons why you need a website

Having a website of your own equals entering into an invaluable communication environment. There are at least 7 reasons why it is highly advisable for you to be present online:

    1. Represents your personal profile
A website can be your virtual portrait, showing off your personal self to the world on a 24/7 basis. Among the most popular ways of presenting your personality online is keeping a webblog (otherwise known as online diary) or a photo gallery, where your friends can stay up-to-date with your daily living.

    2. Spreads your voice across the world
A website can be your global “tribune” where you are able to share your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with people who have common interests, but with whom you might not otherwise have crossed paths. A very popular idea-voicing tool is the discussion board, better known as “forum”. You can also have a guestbook on your site, where people can discuss your postings.

    3. Lets you be in touch with people at a distance
A website can be a meeting place for making new acquaintances with people of different religion, nationality and age, as well as for keeping in touch with friends who may be on the other side of the world. Thanks to the almost unlimited online communication possibilities you can conduct one-to-one conversations with many different people directly from your website.

    4. Broadens disabled people’s interaction with the world
A website empowers people with limited access, due to handicap or illness, to broaden their communication with others. A website can be a physically disabled person’s door to the dynamic world, allowing him/her to bridge over the difficulties
of having a “different” everyday life. It can even be their office, where they can present and deliver certain home-made products/services directly from their living room.

    5. Creates a web skill development environment
A website can introduce you to the secrets of www. The contemporary web design technologies have brought the art of creating a website just a few clicks away from the inexperienced user. Thanks to the popular WYSWYG (what you see is what you get) web design tools, absolutely everyone (irrespective of age or education degree) can build their own web page without any previous experience.

    6. Makes extra profit for you with minimum investment on your part
A website can make residual profit for you, while you are sleeping or enjoying your free time. Thanks to the up-to-date techniques for bringing traffic to your website, you can earn easy money by simply having visitors click on certain product/service promos or links that are relevant to your site content pages (e.g. Google Adsense/Adwords ad solutions) without any initial investment.

    7. Makes you a member of the biggest community of the world
A website is a must-have personal attribute nowadays, just like mobile phones and computers are. The fast developing technologies have converted having a website from a whim into a modern necessity. As of today, almost everyone has a web site, whereas twice as many people are expected to be having their own personal space in the global World Wide Web cosmos in the near future. Be forward-thinking, join this trend now.
