Making money online is possible however there are 2 things you should know if you are considering to join the Making Money Online Business.
1. Making money online is possible but it won’t happen overnight.
2. Making money online means you have to work to make it happen. It won’t happen if you do not make it happen.
Do not believe those who tell you that you will be rich tomorrow with an Internet Business. Making money online is possible. Many people get rich online indeed but it takes some time. It doesn’t matter what Internet Business strategy you follow if you want to be rich it will take you some time to actually start achieving results.
It won’t happen on its own. If you believe that just by setting up a website money will start coming to you, you are wrong too. A website is a good start but you will have to promote it, generate traffic, include relevant content, get visitors who make you make money. Again, it doesn’t matter what method you have selected to make money online you will have to work to make it happen. If you have selected to make money online with advertisements you need to get the advertisers and the traffic happening so you could get more advertisers too. If you have selected to make money online with pay per clicks ads you need to get the visitors who may click on your ads. If you have selected to make money online selling your own info-products you have to market your products, get visitors that believe in your product.

I share the mistakes that will prevent me from making money.
I have been making the following mistakes when blogging. I would like to share them with you.
Selecting all categories
I thought that by selecting all categories my chances of being found by google were higher. I didn’t realise the importance of having content related to my category increased my chances of actually being found by search engines.
Creating categories to attract visitors
I was creating a “special category” for special articles that din’t justify the creation of a new category because I was not going to write many articles of that category.
Using irrelevant categories
I was creating categories that were irrelevant for my blog. For example:
My blog is about entrepreneurship, internet marketing strategies and strategies to make money online. I created a category called “beauty and health” because I was including some examples of how the beauty and health industry use internet marketing strategies. The “beauty and health” category was completely irrelevant.
Creating categories twice
I was creating more than two categories just to be found by Search Engines under different names. For example: I had a category named “make money online” and another one called “earn money online”. I have found that for this purpose it is better to use tags.

Think broader is the clue
Internet Marketing is broader than making money online or working from home
I have read so much about having a niche that I was making the mistake of concentrating my efforts to a very small niche where a much bigger nich can benefit from what I am doing.
The story
When I started my website http://www.orientaccion.com I was attracting visitors who wanted to know how to make money online.
Even before officilally launching it my webiste became very popular.
I am really interested in keep my visitors coming back to this website http://www.orientaccion.com
My strategy is to bring visitors to this site (http://www.orientaccion.com) and from there send them to my different websites where I sell my products.
At http://www.orientaccion.com I do not sell anything. I provide good and relevant content for people who want to start a business from home or generate an income online.
I describe and provide detailed information about the different ways how people can make money online.
I also have a forum where people can post questions and I am very happy to answer them.
My idea is to build a community where people interested in the same topics: work from home, make money online, generate an online income can help each other.
In this way they will also contribute to my website content.
Change to Internet Marketing
Today I changed from work from home, make money online, generate an income to Internet Marketing.
Reasons:
- Internet Marketing is a broader title that can attract more people
- Internet Marketing can attract more advertiser
- I am happier to be related and known as an expert in Internet Marketing than being known as a work from home expert
- My information is indeed about Internet Marketing and it will help much more people
The Tips
Think broader
In my case I was narrowing my niche. I asked myself: Who can be benefited with your information?
The answer was that not only people considering to work from home or making money online.
- People who want to start a business, people who want to get more clients, small businesses, individuals or businesses who wanted to become popular online and offline.
Think what you have to offer
I offer a forum where people can come and ask me or ask the community questions about Internet Marketing, becoming an interntet Marketer.
I offer information about the different ways how people can make money online but it is also relevant information for individuals or businesses who want to promote online and offline.
My mistake was that I wasn’t looking at both sides of my content. I just looked at the “making money online/work from home” side, not the Internet Marketing side too.

work and earn from home
I decided to rebrand my website and blog.
My previous title was Karina Guerra only.
Now I changed it to work and earn from home because I saw how Google is finding my blog through my title. I thought not many people will come and use my name “karina guerra” as a keyword in google but many people look for “work from home“ so I will help google and search engines to help me.
I also thought that “work and earn from home” was better than “making money online”. I have the sensation that people looking for “making money online” content are desperately looking for ideas to make money online fast. My website www.orientaccion.com is not about a super fast solution where people will be rich next day.
What I offer at www.orientaccion.com is my knowledge about the different ways how people can make money on the Internet. However, some work is necessary to be able to start making money online. This work can be done from home, from everywhere but since it is very popular the idea of working from home I named it “Work and earn from home”
I included my name too as one of my strategies of “positioning myself as an expert”

I am trying to find out how google is finding my website. I thought many other people would like to know what I found. It is useful. It can be worth millions!
When searching for OrientACCION
Google is finding my Wordpress Blog
It is using the OrientACCION word within the content, the OrientACCION word in the tags and the OrientACCION word in my domain name.
Google does not seem to find the pages at this blog.
Google finds the articles.
My tips are:
Include a tag with the name of your site
Use WordPress even if you only use it to link it to your website
Use your website name within your content in your Wordpress blog
Autoinstall wordpress
You can auto-install wordpress at www.v10domains.com with just one click
I am going to try to include a link to my main website in all pages and I will see how I go.

Firstly, I choose it because I didn’t have to worry with the installation.
It was installed in one click from www.v10domains.com
It is a very good webhosting company and it doesn’t even cost me $4 usd per month.
It looks like everybody who wants to be popular on the net should be blogging so I came up with this.
I like that I do not have to spend time edititing the content I want to publish, that it is very easy to add more tags and to include my articles in different categories.
I don’t like that if there is a new version I have to install it myself and that I still do not know how to use it.
But so far what I liked the most is that it found me in google in the first place.
So I would say it is a good idea to use WordPress.
